Our Office
Dr. Tim Oakes, D.D.S.
Dr. Oakes was born in Iowa. He studied at Texas Christian University and the University of Colorado. He later went to Dental School in San Antonio. He graduated with his D.D.S. in 1980.
Dentistry is important to Dr. Oakes. He is proud of his dentist ancestry. His great uncles and his grandfather were all dentists. In his younger years, Dr. Oakes grew a love for dentistry from spending time with his grandfather.
When it comes to continuing education, Dr. Oakes believes in going above and beyond the regular state requirement. It is our practice to be as prepared as possible to take care of all of your dental needs. We like giving our patients the extra reassurance that they are in good hands.
After graduation, Dr. Oakes has become a respected member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Fort Worth District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been happily married for over 30 years and has one daughter.
In his spare time, Dr. Oakes loves horses, especially Friesian horses. He also is involved in showing Springer Spaniels.
Our Staff
Our staff is like a tight knit family. We have made a great system where we will make sure that our patients are being taken care of at all times. We will help you feel comfortable and at ease when you come to our office.
Rhonda
Rhonda is our office manger. She joined our practice in June of 1997. She started working with Dr. Oakes after being a patient for many years. Rhonda has three grown children; Heather, Jennifer and John.
Tina
Tina is our front office coordinator. She has been with us since January 1998. When you walk into our practice, Tina is the one that will greet you with a smile and she will help you schedule an appointment with us over the phone. Tina will also be able to help you with any insurance questions you may have. She has two grown children; Katy and Sam.
Heather
Heather is a Dental Assistant. She has been here since April of 2001. She has been a patient of Dr. Oakes’ since she was five. She has one son, Aiden.
Mary
Mary joined our practice in February 2002. She is our Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Amarillo Dental Hygiene and moved in town and joined the practice shortly after. She has two children; Mason and Madison. They keep her busy.
Connie
Connie is our long lost dental assistant. She worked with us for five years before she left and worked in another city. When she came back, we welcomed her like family and it was like she had never left. She has two sons, Julio and Christian. Julio is grown and Christian is still going to high school.
